MARIO T. MANANGHAYA

President & Chairman

Mario is a Certified Public Accountant with post graduate studies from international universities best known for developing senior business executives, Harvard Business School and the Asian Institute of Management. He had a successful career in the accounting profession where he became a Philippine partner of three of the world’s largest accounting firms, namely the former Arthur Andersen & Co (SGV & Co.), former Coopers & Lybrand, and KPMG.

His latest major role is being the Chairman of one of the biggest headhunter, Philippines recruitment company before setting up Leading Edge.

ANTONIO G. PEDRO

Chief Finance Officer

Tony is a Certified Public Accountant. He is the Chief Finance Officer of Leading Edge. Also, he has assumed the Chief Finance Officer role for various local and multinational companies. He was overall responsible for finance, administration, and human resource functions. These companies in the Philippines include KPMG Laya Mananghaya & Co., Pilipinas Makro, Isla Communications, and Edward Keller Philippines, and others.

He has completed Management Development Programs from the Nijenrode University in The Netherlands, Columbia University in New York, and Sundridge Park Management Center in the United Kingdom.

ROGER M. HERNANDEZ 

Vice President

Roger is an experienced executive with a demonstrated history of building and empowering teams and partnering with stakeholders in supporting the growth of the business. 

Prior to setting up Leading Edge, he held executive positions for some reputable job recruitment agencies and headhunter firms in the Philippines. As a former General Manager, he was responsible for introducing change management in the company’s operations and successfully launching the leading Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) business unit. He also championed the executive search practice for various sectors which led to achieving business targets coming from negative performance. His experience as a seasoned headhunter of many business in the Philippines also led him to work in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam as consultant for a start-up recruitment service agency. 

In the corporate space, he contributed to the aggressive growth initiatives of some of the reputable IT-BPM companies like Genpact Services LLC, Aegis Aspire (former PeopleSupport) and Telus International Philippines. For these companies, he assumed the top level post in recruitment firm in the Philippines. Roger is a graduate of Business Administration from the University of Santo Tomas and had units in MBA from De La Salle University.
